Dara Dillon - Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer

Dara has over eighteen years of combined experience working alongside NGOs and private companies in various capacities (research and policy development, project and program evaluation, communication, advocacy, and engagement). Dara holds a BA in Human Rights and Equity Studies, an MSc in Strategic Studies and Energy Security, an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management Studies. She specializes in human rights, namely, LGBTQI+ rights and anti-racism. Her passion lies in the intersection between Black and women's rights, with a particular interest in how corporations perceive both. Dara believes that the foundation of gender equity lies in women's economic empowerment. As such, she consults with a not-for-profit that focuses on assisting women re-entering the workplace, pay parity, and female entrepreneurship. She is an acclaimed professional with extensive experience in educating and monitoring innovative and inclusive policies. Dara is an influential force and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Dara is inspired by the world's positive changes, and in her spare time, she writes short stories and plays video games with her 15-year-old son.
